1. Information We Collect

Cai Cai Xiang Xi is a fridge inventory and recipe recommendation tool. We do not collect any personal information:

• The food items and recipes you enter are stored only on your own device. We cannot access them.
• The app does not require registration or sign-in.
• The app does not collect location, contacts, microphone, or any other permission-based data.

2. Camera and Photo Library

When you use the "scan a receipt" feature, the app requests camera or photo library access. Text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework; images are never uploaded to any server.

3. iCloud Sync (Pro feature)

Pro users may enable iCloud sync. Data is synced across your own devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. The data is stored under your Apple Account and hosted by Apple; we cannot access it. You can manage it in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.

4. In-App Purchases and Payments

In-app purchases (the Pro subscription and the one-time purchase) are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. We never receive your payment information. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

5. Data Storage and Deletion

By default your data is stored only on your device. Deleting the app or clearing its data removes everything. We do not operate any server and do not store or transmit your data.

6. Third-Party Services

This app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. All functionality uses Apple system frameworks only.
